WINTER CAMPS 2011

IMPORTANT NEWS REGARDING WINTER CAMP, 2011

Cowboy’s Rest will be closed to the public from January 1st to March 31st, 2011.
Unfortunately, this means we will NOT be hosting any winter camps or booking any
weekend retreats during those months.

The reasons for our winter closure can be summed-up in one word: maintenance.
Eleven years of on-going ministry have left us with little time for repairs and restoration.
Therefore, when we close our doors this winter, we’ll also be opening our tool boxes and
working diligently on various projects to improve the camp facilities.

We realize that our decision not to host winter camps this year will come as a disappointment
to many of you. However, we hope that this short “rest for The Rest” will result in an even better
camp experience in the summer of 2011. Thank you for your understanding and for your
continuing support of the ministry here at Cowboy’s Rest. May the Lord bless you and your
loved ones with a Christ-centered winter that is warmed with His wonderful presence.

Cowboy's Rest's location provides an ideal setting for small group winter retreats.

Winter Camp Season: November 15 through February 28

Winter Camp Duration: Friday afternoon through Sunday morning

Winter Camp Services: Cowboy's Rest will provide housing, meals, and cleaning services to groups renting our winter facilities. In addition, we will have staff available to supervise some activities (e.g. staff at the paintball course and sledding hill as well as technicians to run our sound and projection systems). We do not provide counselors or program unless prior arrangements have been made.

Once you've settled on a date, please contact us, so we can confirm the date and send you a contract. Your dates will be considered reserved only when we have received the signed contract and a deposit.
