What determines Camp costs?
Cowboy's Rest, a non-denominational camp, exists to provide a Christian camping experience in a rustic, outdoor setting and to assist the local Church in encouraging and equipping her congregations. We are a nonprofit organization that utilizes generous contributions to keep camp costs low, pay our staff, and keep camp running. The hope of our ministry is that His Word be proclaimed and His people be brought together. We are funded partially by camper fees, but camp stays affordable through donations. In 2024, 58% of costs were covered by faithful donations to the ministry. This allows for campers’ families to pay less than the actual cost of camp.
Have questions? Contact us today, we would love to give you more information on what makes camp run.
The Brian Clifford Memorial Scholarship
|
Brian Clifford was a good friend who loved God deeply and always wanted to attend summer camp. When the Lord called Brian home at the age of eleven, he had never had the chance to come to camp because of his health conditions. Cowboy’s Rest is blessed to offer a scholarship in Brian’s memory so that other children who want to attend camp can experience the joy of doing so.
How do I receive a scholarship? 1. Scholarships may be used to cover up to 50% of your camper tuition. 2. Click the button to download and print a scholarship application. 3. The application must be completed by a pastor, Sunday school teacher, or other unrelated individual who is familiar with the camper. The requested written statement must be attached. 4. The application must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the start of your camp. It can be emailed to [email protected] or sent via physical mail to 435 Jiggs Hwy Unit 4 Spring Creek NV 89815 5. Members of the Cowboy's Rest Board will review the applications, award scholarships, and notify applicants of their decisions. |
