WANTED: dedicated Christians (age 14 and up with family representative or 16 without) willing to commit one week or weekend of their time to work alongside the Cowboy’s Rest staff in serving the Lord and His kids. WHEN: weekends fall and spring during our retreat programs. Week-long opportunities during the summer season. 2023 Volunteer Day is June 10th! 2023. |

FOR: assisting permanent staff in the routine duties of camp, especially cooking and cleaning. Other tasks could include any area in which you are particularly gifted or interested, such as arts and crafts, buildings and grounds, counseling campers, or mentoring staff. Volunteer Policy:
Volunteer Compensation - The Cowboy's Rest Volunteer Program is designed to provide the opportunity for Christians to freely share their time and talents with our campers and staff at Cowboy's Rest. Housing and meals are provided for our volunteers. Volunteer hours are not otherwise compensated and cannot be exchanged for camp tuition or other services.
Volunteer Ages - All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Any volunteers younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult volunteer who will live with, work with, and be responsible for the teen volunteer.
Volunteer Selection - All volunteers must complete an application. A background check will also be performed. Cowboy's Rest retains the right to deny requests to volunteer.
Volunteer Forms - upon acceptance, all volunteers must submit a medical form at the beginning of their volunteer stay.
